The dream of the ’90s is alive. Adidas is releasing new colors of its popular retro sneaker the adidas Black Friday 2018. The shoe is inspired by the brand’s Falcon Dorf, a shoe created in 1997. (Adidas recently introduced Kylie Jenner—born in ’97—as the Adidas Originals Falcon ambassador with the release of the Falcon Dorf Runner.) The Triple Purple Yung-1 was released at the beginning of September. This go-around, the sneaker is more black tie than Purple People Eater.
The new iterations of the adidas Cyber Monday for sale will be all black or all white, with that layered look the ’90s are known for; the Yung-1 has a chunky mesh upper with nubuck overlays. Adidas’ Torsion System is integrated into the outsole for traction and stability. A lightweight EVA midsole provides cushioning and support—for those moments when you just need to engage in the “Macarena” or moonwalk like M.J.
The adidas yung is becoming one of the popular silhouettes from the Three Stripes since its release, and it’s now coming in a clean Cloud White iteration just before summer is officially over. The chunky runner’s design features a mixture of materials like nubuck, mesh, textile and leather accents, across its upper, which is covered in hues of Cloud White and Footwear White. Finally, a matching white rubber sole completes the crisp design.
The Dragon Ball Z x adidas yung 1 red white Frieza is one of the first models to drop from the exclusive Dragon Ball Z x adidas collection for Fall 2018. The shoe features the signature colors of the character Frieza, and the style is inspired by the Yeezy Wave Runner 700 and Temper Run. Covered in white mesh and leather across its upper, contrasting accents of pink and purple are applied throughout. Finally, a matching rubber sole completes the design.
