Coordinate with Users: Coordinate with other users and ask them to close QuickBooks. Restart Computers: Restart the computers of all users to clear any lingering connections. Retry Opening QuickBooks: After ensuring no other user is accessing the file, try opening QuickBooks again.
Solution 2: Restart the Server If you are using a server to host the company file, restarting the server may help resolve the issue. Save and Close QuickBooks: Save and close QuickBooks on all computers. Restart the Server: Restart the server where the company file is located. Retry Opening QuickBooks: After restarting the server, try opening QuickBooks again.
